FAQ'S

We have listed here a few FAQ's that we hope will help. However, if there is something specific that we can help with or you feel should be included below, please let us know.

Q. How close is the appartment to the centre of resort?

The property is perfectly located just a very short walk from the centre, but far enough away to be undisturbed by any civic events. The location is on a 'No Through Road' in a lovely tranquil spot, meaning that you have all the convenience of the towns facilities, but without ever being disturbed. Of course everyone's pace is different, but in general on foot it takes between 5-7 minutes from the front door of the apartment to the centre

Q. Where can I park?

There is a dedicated private parking space on the property assigned to the apartment, and this is just infront of the garden & terrace area of the aprtment itself. For additional parking should it be needed, there is a free public car park just 80 metres away, and should you wish to drive to the centre for supplies etc, parking in the town centre is plentiful and free of charge!

Q. Is there local transport nearby?

Yes, the apartment is incredibly well placed to profit from local transport. Approximately 70 metres away is the bus stop where you can take one of two buses, both of which ultimately arrive at the main Telecabine. One runs directly as a shuttle and takes approximately 3 minutes to get to the Telecabine, and the other service runs through the older part of the town, via the town centre and on to the telecabine in approximately 10 minutes. The combination of these two services means that during peak times, there is a bus to the telecabine every 7 to 10 minutes. There is also the historic Mont Blanc Tramway station just a short walk from the chalet, and this climbs the great mountain to 1800m in winter and 2380 in summer. It can also bring you from the main railway station at the bottom of the mountain to within 70 metres of the chalet, so perfect for those looking to travel here by train.

Q. What does the price include?

The price includes all linen, towels, duvets and pillows, as well as a 'Welcome Pack' with a few essentials including milk, tea, coffee, sugar, breakfast cereal, bread, butter and jam - we also include fruit juice and a bottle of wine so that you can unwind and begin to enjoy your holiday as soon as you arrive. (n.b.The apartment towels are only for use inside the property, so if you wish to use a towel to sunbathe or for swimming at the pool or in one of the local lakes etc, we kindly suggest that you bring seperate beach towels or similar for that purpose.)
